Facebook Scam Post Promises EVERYONE Free Pizza From Little Caesars

According to a post currently being shared across Facebook, pizza chain Little Caesars is giving EVERYONE 3 free large pizzas to celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary.

The post, which features an image depicting a Little Caesars coupon, links to a website that supposedly allows you to claim your free pizzas.

However, the post and the associated website have no connection to Little Caesars and no pizzas are being given away.

The post is yet another Facebook giveaway scam designed to trick people into submitting their personal details on dodgy websites.

Clicking on the post opens a “claim” website that asks you to complete a pointless survey about your pizza buying habits. No matter what answers you give, the fake site will always choose you as a “winner”.

The claim page then instructs you to like and share on Facebook and add the comment “Thanks for my Coupon”. Supposedly, you must complete these steps before your pizza coupon claim can be verified. But, in reality, following the instructions just helps the scammers by promoting their fake giveaway to a much wider audience.

After you like, share, and comment, a list of links will appear. The page claims that you must click one or more of these links to finish verifying your entry and receive the free coupon.

The links open scam websites that promise the chance to win further prizes in exchange for submitting your personal information. But the site will share the information you submit with “site sponsors” and dodgy marketing companies.

So, you will soon be inundated with unwanted phone calls, text messages, emails, and letters promoting a range of suspect products and services.
